Resort Livin’

I’ve been quite enamored with the new Hawaii resort.  So I finally made up my mind which swimsuit to buy and spent some more time exploring and frittering away my afternoon taking snapshots.  I think the hula dance is quite well animated, so added that to my dance bar.

I finally read the Pico posting about the special events that can be triggered by emoting at the right place with the right number of people~  Armed with my new dance moves, got a few ladies together and triggered off the fire dancers!  Pity many gawkers were standing right in front of them… sigh… a decent photo was hard to take!

Had to go swimming with ZB and show him the sea life – especially after posing with hula girls with the boys… hahahah~

Mmm… yes, ZB has never been a strong swimmer…. -_-;

Went with everyone to get the Star too for dolphin spotting… Emotes for hire here…

It seems though that ZB got *slightly* distracted…

Exciting update today~  I have most definitely been anticipating this resort hotel update! :D Two new zones:

Sunset Beach~

Naturally, new zone = must have new gear!!  Nate, empowered with his newfound deep pockets got himself the swim trunks right away.  Here he is chilling with a pineapple cooler:

The water has cute little fish animations that pop up once in a while.   Captured Nate and the Nemos here.  Much to my frustration, the style of swim wear you choose determines what design goes on your swimming ring.  For Nate, it was a no-brainer, but that feature just complicated my choice of bikini 10-fold.  Yes, I am one of those females who have a hard time deciding what to wear when I get up in the morning.

You can only reach the hula girl on the far island if you buy a swimsuit and putter over!!

The Pico-peeps awarded their “most special players” with these super duper cute items~ And yes, I am absolutely one of these “very special” people. ;p

And, totally unexpected,  (for naive me, ha), there was also a themed mystery box! Hooray.  Back onto demanding boxes once the clock clicks 8 Asian time.  Whooo~!

My first round of boxes yielded some pretty good stuff.  I got both a coconut candle and the fire torch.  Though I didn’t realize they were consumables… shame.  The candle is quite cute…

My happiest draw was the Playful Tropical Colorful Overall.  (Mouthful of a name.  >_<) Thanks Macky Mack!  I’ve been eyeing the purple romper featured in the Pigg Spring array of fashion for a whiles.  Close enough, bringing over the beach rompers, though that dark purple one would have been awesome to own!

I spent a heck of a long time pondering what swimsuit to wear.  This draw just gave me another reason to procrastinate the decision for a whiles longer.  Here’s the romper in action!  Oh, and Nate got a Hawaiian shirt in his boxes!  Aloha from the Sunset Beach! :D

20 burgers a day to promote optimum Pico health!  Sorry, ran out of burger, had to fill in with a cake…

I am still bemoaning the fact that I do not own an ambulance…

… time to throw another Pico fit!  Dr. Nate sez: “I’m gunna take this pokey-poke and shove it…”  Hush now, go eat some cake.

Since the whole family like to hang out in her pad and fight to sit in the cars.  I suggested that Chanky should gatcha herself more vehicles, then set them to all face a plasma screen, making a drive in theme.  Now we just need a sizable donation from someone with deep pockets and a belief that funding this venture would bring true harmony to both our Pico and real lives.

In Panda News Today

Chatting with my brother is always a bad idea.  I was huffy about not getting a firetruck: the other car-car I was interested in getting — so he talked me into gatcha-ing again.  And I got one~  Happy dance time.

Colored Panda Watch

The whole 16 pet farms open thingy is causing a panda boom!  I’ve been seeing a lot more pandas during visits and strolling around the newbie areas~

Beep Beep Vroom Vroom!

Noooooo~~!!  Poo to you, Premium Uniform Gatcha and your cute car-cars!!!! Gatcha will be the death of me once again.  I had a bitty bit of spare AG left in my account and I didn’t get any vehicles via rolling the dice with my meagre pocket change!!  It wasn’t until I ponied up the dineros encore that I got one — on the first roll after refill… go figure.   Luckily for me, it was the vehicle of my choice. But aahhh~  headache!

Don’t think I’ll be rolling again, so unless I spazz out from gatcha withdrawal, here’s a piccy of the whole set of cars — just so I can dream of making a themed public transport garage.

My pandas don’t quite know what to make of the new “toy” in the middle of their studio…

I persuaded Chanky to go gatcha also and she got both the police car and the firetruck AND the firefighter outfit she wanted~  Some people have all the luck…  Did I mention that I *still* don’t have that samurai helmet?!

UPDATE:

Chanky with her stellar gatcha luck got *all 3* cars!  *No* duplicates!!  Waaahhh!!  As luck would have it, Donald McRonald, Chanky and Niu happened to have the right outfits too~

Speaking of outfits, I said “bachelorette party” in reference to what Niu is wearing, and by word association Chanky went and sexified her firefighter outfit~ Nate-Nate is either very embarrassed seeing it or just very constipated.

Ya know… I think the pandas are plotting something…
