The Pigg peeps seem to be into building enormous block structures lately for their theme areas… Here’s the haunted high school and very impressive giant robo areas~

The sunflower items from Pigg got released today~  yaaaay~  I couldn’t quite bring myself to buy up my entire wishlist, so invested in a sunflower pot.

Panda tee and Kung Fu

I like my panda tee~ It’s got a little tail detail on the back.  Ham was wearing a tee with a pig tail detail on the back today in RL — real cute.

Fat Boy has been my panda du jour while I’ve been sporting this tee~ Here we are camping props…

Oh whoops… luckily he has a tough head.

A cute Pico I met.  I never seem to remember to get their name.  My excuse is that Picos always change their names anyways… Glad I never had to scope out people at bars and get their name and number, coz I absolutely suxorz.

Now with the new kung-fu actions, I’m seeing quite a lot of violence at the park.  Su Pico made his entrance to a flurry of props due to his very a la mode get-up — sadly, he got the Pico-poop kicked out of him by these two ladies and had to zone. >_<;

I just bought myself the grass flooring and the sky wallpaper… very poor, so no gummies to buy kung fu moves.  I weep.

Legend of the Little Dragon

One of the new star-achievements is to kung-fu kick and punch with a bunch of Picos in front of Chaulin temple, and the grand master will come out and show you his one earth shattering move.  I hei-yaaa-ed my fill with a bunch of peeps, and Chaulin See Fu came out to destroy his courtyard. It’s okay though, only pixels.

His window is labeled Legend of the Little Dragon — Little Dragon being the Chinese name of Bruce Li.

Totally funny how he gets mobbed every time. Kinda looking like Hugh Heffner there.

Grand Master C. offers you the chance to buy a baldy wig and the incense burners offered by the mystery boxes. If I remember correctly, the Pigg version of the baldy wig is crazy expensive… forgot how much it was though.

In any case, Niu had fun posing with various equally belligerent Pico ladies.  Girl in the Hawaiian pantsuit kept yelling kamehameha.  Nice touch~

Niu chanced upon this cute Japanese speaking monk Pico~  Check out my Harajuku-samurai gearz!  He was amused. Then showed me the full 19 renkan-ken moves~ Impressive!

It then occurred to me that only the males get to wear the one shoulder Kung Fu outfit.

Niu: Say, you got one of those sexy one shoulder uniforms for me?  Bet you have my size, coz I know the local boys of my kind and they most definitely have waistlines that’ll make me green with envy~~

Monk-Dude: Oh you jest.  And have female tourists show so much skin that my fellow bald brothers would fantasize themselves into a unchaste frenzy (cough) and defile our uniform? Surely not… No… you can’t bribe me with useless mystery box loot.

P.S. The Chinese sign reads Zhonglin Temple Special. A spoof on Shaolin, which literally means young forest… so I take it that Zhong Lin is the middle aged version?

I’m watching HowlGoGo’s construction of his slightly demonic shrine~  The animals look like they could belong on a toem pole.  The eagle is pretty impressive!

I noticed the preview icons last week that the China areas were going to be released — and there was that restaurant that I’d never seen in Pigg!  Oooooo~  I was kinda happy to note that Pigg and Pico released the restaurant and sweet sweet new Chinese nomibles together today!

I’ve gotten into the habit of expecting new Mystery Boxes to be released with each new area also~  I really really wanted the panda tee — and got it in the  first round of boxes I received!!  Yaaay~  Well, Nate got it too… and so did Theo — who ALSO got the other rare yellow tee.  Luckily, he’s not equipped with the Volcano dance (yet) to do a taunt dance.

Matsuri Mystery Revealed

So I saw this today on Carl’s original Matsuri confusion discussion board inquiry~  Usagi figured it out~

So desu nee… So far I’ve never been able to catch Oliver, but went to the matsuri grounds to check out the fireworks~ Here’s a little compilation of fireworks I managed to screen cap~ (only one goes off at any given time…)

Also did a dance with a fellow Pico who had similar fashion taste~ (black pants)

I’ve come to the conclusion that blue rangers are the hardest to find~~

Attack of the Fake Olivers

Another Oliver event = more FB camping for that whimsical sprite to announce his appearance.  Everyone to their battle stations~~

Nate chances upon “Happy Oliver” in Matsuri 6… But wait… where’s the clover that sprouts out of his bald head!?

Nate is not amused…

But… it gets better!  Imagine the surprise when Happy Oliver appeared in Matsuri 4 and 6 simultaneously. Then, BOTH of them decided to party it up in Matsuri 4 TOGETHER! Fakers!!! Much moaning and groaning ensued~

Hey, I propped them. Made for some entertainment — even if the Real Happy Oliver stayed put in Matsuri 9 and never graced me with his presence.  :p

It didn’t take long for the Olivers to get mobbed with reactions of every type.  Ahhh, the life of a psuedo celeb.

Mmmm~  a red Oliver came by as well~
